*** CoviD-19 UPDATE - 2020 FIESTA CANCELLED ***

In these unprecedented and unpredictable times it is imperative that we look after our customers, our traders and ourselves so, to this end, it is with enormous sadness that we have to announce that this year's Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta is cancelled.

We will be back in 2021 so please make a note of the date in your diaries - Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th April 2021.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Best wishes,

Liz, Mina, Pat, Jeanne, Suzie, and Maggie xx

*** SAVE THE DATE ***

2021 Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta

Saturday 24th April, 10am to 5pm

Sunday 25th April, 10am to 3.30pm

Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta began life as a commercial venture but was taken over by a volunteer committee of local needlework and textiles enthusiasts in 2004 and run as a not-for-profit event, raising much-needed funds for the benefit of the local community and local textile groups.

In addition to the provision of small grants to these groups, during the past five years alone we have been able to donate more than £15,000 to Brockenhurst Village Trust which, amongst other things, has helped to pay for various improvements to the Village Hall facilities including resurfacing of the car park, redesign of the entrance and foyer and other refurbishments.

We are enormously proud to also support the Honeypot Children's Charity who support young carers and vulnerable children, ensuring they have the opportunity to make the most of their one chance at childhood.  You can find out more about their work on their website:  www.honeypot.org.uk

The Fiesta itself is months in the planning and takes place over a Saturday and Sunday in late April each year.  It occupies the entire Village Hall building which provides more than 500 square metres of needlework and textiles related stalls, exhibitions and demonstrations to enjoy!

We have a unique mix of traders who come from far and wide with their vast array of supplies covering an equally vast range of crafts.  We also have a diverse line-up of exhibitors and demonstrators from the local area to showcase their work and share information on upcoming workshops, groups and events.
